28  Conclusion

What a journey. We started with ice creams and ended up learning about data, space, lines and gradients. These are the tools that make Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence possible. With linear regression, you can predict anything, either a continuous value or a discrete label. Ice creams sold, whether an email is spam or not, house prices… Your imagination is the only limit.

To continue your learning adventure, I recommend reading my introductory book: Machine Learning Intuition. It covers the practical aspects of the science of prediction, with much less maths than this book. After what you went through, you may not believe me. There is only one way to find out.
